The Kawarau Half Day Canyon is a fun and exciting introduction to the sport of Canyoning!
Located out in the Gibbston Valley, you get the opportunity to abseil through waterfalls, slide natural water slides and downclimb your way through the canyon. Just a short walk to get to the canyon start, this trip is really for everyone!
The perfect choice for the first time canyoner, offering a great introduction to the sport. We pick up from Queenstown and provide a vehicle transfer through the Gibbston Valley, out to the canyon. Enjoy some easy and fun natural water slides and abseils.
Highlights
Provide all the canyoning equipment including wetsuits, socks, shoes, helmets and harness. Transfers to the canyon locations are included and hotels pick up in Queenstown and Wanaka are available on request.

Price includes
- Minimum age 10 years old.
- You don't have to be fear of water
- You need to fit into the equipment i.e. wetsuits and harnesses. So if your're an extra small/large sized person, please get in touch with us first.
- Passengers are required to check in 30 minutes prior to their booking time..
Cancellation policy
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 45 days or more before the start of the tour, the cancellation fee will be equivalent to the deposit paid
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 30 to 45 days before the start of the tour the cancellation fee shall be 25% of the contract price
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 7 to 30 days before the start of the tour the cancellation fee shall be 50% of the contract price
- Where the date of cancellation is a date 7 days or less before the start of the tour the cancellation fee shall be 100% of the contract price
